Heavenly Mountain Resort is located on the California-Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe and is one of the most majestic and scenic ski areas in the world with easy access via gondola from the town.
With 97 runs and 30 lifts that are spread between California and Nevada and four base facilities. The resort has 4,800 acres within its permit area, with approximately 33% currently developed for skiing.
The town of South Lake Tahoe is intersected by the border, with the California side hosting some great restaurants and properties on the Lake. The Nevada side has the high rise casinos, with shows, clubs and a bustling nightlife.
With an average of 9.10 meters of snow annually, and one of America’s largest snowmaking systems, the ski season usually runs from mid-November to mid-April.
