Located 35 minutes drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, Park City was host of the 2002 Winter Olympics and is now the largest single ski area in the United States.
In the Summer of 2015, Park City Mountain Resort combined with neighboring Canyons Resort to create Park City with over 7,300 acres, 300+ trails, 41 lifts, eight terrain parks, 14 bowls, six natural half pipes, one super pipe and one mini pipe.
Not to be confused with the town of Park City, which serves the two ski resorts Park City and Deer Valley, Park City (the ski resort) bustles with winter activities with three distinct base areas – Park City Town, Park City Base & The Canyons Village with nine hotels, endless fun family adventures and over two dozen restaurants to choose from.
Famous for it’s dry quality powder snow and now expansive ski terrain and endless trails, Canyons Village offers the most convenient ski in ski out accommodation however it’s the main town of Park City, steeped with it’s silver mining heritage that offers the greatest choice of restaurants, nightlife and apres ski activities.
